You read that correctly. From time to time I (Mike) teach classes at WCC relating to mountain biking. In the summer it's primarily kids classes, but I also do an adult class in the spring and fall. The summer dates for kids classes are right around the corner. Get your grom registered today!

Learn more to how to turn confidently at speed, ride steeper trails and explosive movement needed for jumps drops and other obstacles. Note: Level 1 Class has passed. If your child is comfortable riding moderately steep trail with roots and rocks and is capable of pedaling 6 to 8 trail miles a day, you’re welcome to sign them up for Level 2 without taking Level 1.
Learn to jump and ride drops and rolls. Note: Students will need to either complete Level 2 and pass or get a skills assessment to demonstrate the necessary skills to take this class including doing a Level Wheel Lift (explosive movement), turning by leaning the bike (side-to-side bike/body separation) and showing they can stay balanced in the Ready Position (or Neutral Position) on trail with grade that changes from flat, to downhill, to uphill (forward and back bike/body separation).
